Korean-born Joung Shick Kim grew up in Seoul, where he has been a commercial photographer. After graduating from the Seoul Art College with a degree in photography, he worked for newspapers and magazines before opening his own very successful studio. He is widely known in Korea for his commercial, art, nature and landscape photography. He now has his studio in Seattle, Washington, where he lives with his wife (a ceramic artist) and two daughters.
