Seattle Support Group (SSG) produces its own line of royalty-free photo CDs, makes custom photo CDs for clients, provides CD replication, custom scanning and archiving, provides web hosting and design, and distributes a line of videos under the Videochoice.com site.
SSG has been in business since 1987. It started out as a computer consulting business offering computer hardware sales, installation, and custom programming.
From that beginning, SSG progressed in 1992 into the area of developing a line of photo compact disks for marketing under its own label, "Vintage."
From market exposure and the high quality of our product, in mid-1993 SSG was selected by Corel Corporation of Ontario, Canada, to furnish it with its first 30 photo CDs. Corel is a major software corporation.
SSG has received contracts from Hewlett-Packard Corp., Epson, and Lexmark printing companies to provide photos for use in demonstrating their new lines of color printers, further enhancing SSG's reputation as a quality provider.
In 1999, SSG moved into its new headquarters in Oregon City, Oregon.
SSG installed a high-speed data line for allowing Internet access by potential customers wanting to preview and order SSG products.
SSG also provides high-speed web hosting and design of web sites.
SSG markets a full line of stock photographic images. The newest line of photo CDs, "CD Photo Library," (CDPL) is a very high resolution CD. Each volume contains 100 images, and are all royalty free.
This line is intended for printers and publishers who need a larger picture output.
Other services include production of custom photo CDs for printer manufacturers and other firms, replication of CD projects, and archiving photos and company data to CD.
SSG, under the Videochoice logo, is a specialty distributor of AAA travel videos and aviation/space videos.
